Mike Sgobba

Mike has a “good guy makes good” story. Mike left the Valley for college in San Diego, graduated, and quickly landed a great job with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a staff auditor, mostly working in the technology sector for large public companies. He also worked in the financial services division for a number of hedge funds. Needless to say, he boasts a rich and varied work history.

Returning to his hometown, he joined us at C&D in 2010, where he has focused on auditing and tax preparation for both nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses. He has been a guest speaker regarding current tax issues at the Central Coast Insights program sponsored by the Wine Industry Symposium Group and currently volunteers as Vice President at the Solvang Lutheran Home and as a board member and treasurer of Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Foundation. He also formerly held the position of treasurer of the Santa Barbara Triathlon Club.

Outside the office, Mike enjoys running, hiking, spending time with his wife and children, and camping in their vintage trailer.

Mike became a partner at C&D in 2015. His talents are helping us to continue to offer our clients the very best, and experienced financial advice and planning.
