Kyle Gotcher

Kyle joined C&D in 2009 and his innovative work, expert insights, and dedication to client service have earned him a seat as a partner in 2022.  Kyle has broad experience in tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, estates and trusts, real estate, and closely held businesses. He also has extensive experience in representation before the IRS and state tax authorities as well as consulting, planning, and compliance matters affecting family-owned businesses in the food and beverage industry.

Always keen to share his insights and expertise with the community, Kyle has been a guest speaker on several occasions for real estate professionals throughout Santa Barbara County regarding property dispositions and related tax issues.  In addition, he has been a guest lecturer within the Cal Poly Master’s program and strongly supports the firm’s college recruiting efforts. Kyle is an excellent mentor and well-respected leader at the firm. 

Kyle attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he earned his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  In 2021, the Pacific Coast Business Times selected Kyle as one of their 40 under 40 winners; an annual list of up-and-coming business leaders under the age of 40.

Kyle resides in Los Alamos with his fiancée, Judith. In his free time, he loves cooking, spending time outdoors as an avid hunter/fisherman, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
